Airport

Prague International Airport handles the flights of most European carriers and also overseas flights. It is located 30-45 minutes from the centre of Prague. There is a good connection between the Airport and the city centre by public transport buses and taxis.

You can easily get to the city centre using one of the public buses. For the quickest transport to the city centre or the nearest metro station we advise using routes 119, 254, 179, 225 and 100.

No.119 and 254 (Airport -> Metro A Dejvicka, every 5 to 20 minutes, travel time 25min), from metro station Dejvicka (green line) you can take a metro to station Mustek, there you change lines (to yellow line) and go to metro station Anděl which is nearby Andel´s Hotel Prague.

No.100 (Airport -> Metro B Zlicin, every 15 to 30 minutes, travel time 18 minutes), from metro station Zlicin (yellow line) you can take a metro to station Anděl which is nearby Andel´s Hotel Prague..

No. 179 and 225 (Airport -> Metro B Nove Butovice, travel time 18 minutes), from metro station Nove Butovice (yellow line) you can take a metro to station Anděl which is nearby Andel´s Hotel Prague..

Unfortunately there is no subway or train connection to the city. You should buy a ticket before travelling and these can be found at the arrival hall, at ticket machines or at the newsagents (if arriving late and all shops are closed buy a ticket from the driver but large banknotes are not accepted). Tickets cost just 26 CZK (96 c). If you take the No.119 bus (every 5 to 20 minutes, the journey takes about 25min) you should get off at the last stop called Dejvicka where you can transfer to underground line A. In just a few metro stops you will be in the city centre. When buying a 26 CZK ticket for public transport you will receive a transferable ticket allowing you to travel for a 90 minute period. Note that if you are carrying any large pieces of luggage i.e. a backpack or suitcase you will need to purchase an additional ½ price ticket. You can also take the No.100 bus which will take you from the airport to Zlicin - the underground station of the yellow line(B) that leads to the town centre (Mustek station).
