Grant

The aim of the upcoming IPEG meeting is to discuss the latest advances achieved in the field of scientific research and issues regarding the use of EEG and EEG-related techniques in neurology, psychiatry, anesthesia and analgesia, with the perspective of developing new drugs. The IPEG meetings provide a unique platform where basic scientists and medical professionals from academia and industry can exchange important ideas and information.

Similarly to previous IPEG congresses, the IPEG symposia will be preceded by a training course designed to provide basic and advanced information on the different aspects of electroencephalography (EEG) / magnetoencephalography (MEG) research: principles, recording procedures, experimental designs, data analysis and interpretation, and their application in different fields of neuropsychopharmacology.

Prague, often nicknamed "the mother of cities" or "the city of a hundred spires" is the capital and the largest city of the Czech Republic. Since 1992, the extensive historic centre of Prague has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites and it contains one of the world's most pristine and varied collections of architecture, from Art Nouveau to Baroque, Renaissance, Cubist, Gothic, Neo-Classical and ultra-modern art. We are very happy that we will be able to welcome you near the real historical heart of Prague where our congress will take place.

We hope that you will greatly benefit from the scientific program, exchange information and ideas with new acquaintances and enjoy your stay in Prague.
